BMS are committed to promoting excellence in book trade marketing. As part of this commitment, we sponsor and administrate a Book Marketing Society Awards scheme to reward the best marketing campaigns throughout the year. The winners of the Triannual Awards will automatically be forwarded for submission to the annual British Books Trade Marketing Award held at the BA Conference each Spring.
The schedule for the Book Marketing Society Awards for 2008 is as follows:
First Award: for marketing campaigns ran between January and April. Entry deadline for submissions will be in May (precise date to be confirmed), with the winners being announced at the BMS Open Meeting in June.
Second Award: for marketing campaigns ran between May and August. Entry deadline for submissions will be in September (precise date to be confirmed), with the winners being announced at the BMS Open Meeting in October.
Third Award: for marketing campaigns ran between September and December. Entry deadline for submissions will be in February 2009, with the winners being announced at the Open meeting in February.
