An Introduction to Production Training Course

Aimed at those new to book production. This course provides an interactive introduction to how books are made, looking the whole process, including repro, colour management, the different print and binding methods used within the book industry and the language used to express it. Focussing on the role of production, how you can add value and avoid some of the pit falls of the process.

This seminar based course focuses on the practical application of knowledge. Hearing first hand from industry experts on a broad range of subjects and learning how to apply this knowledge in your day-to-day role.

All of our courses are designed in conjunction with a group of Production Directors from leading houses so that they focus on what you need to know. Each course contains a formal assessment recognized by many of the UK’s publishing houses.

To ensure that you get the most out of the course we limit the group to 12 people.
