BMS Masterclass with James Spackman: Crime & Thriller special

  • WHEN: April 11, 2019
  • AT: 9:30am – 1pm
  • LOCATION: Total Media Offices, W1F 8GQ
  • COST: £65 including refreshments (BMS members only)

The BMS is inviting its members to delve into some of the most successful crime and thriller marketing campaigns of the past twelve months as part of its latest BMS Masterclass session with James Spackman, Publisher of Profile Pursuit and branding consultant.

A summary of the campaigns being discussed will be circulated ahead of the masterclass and audience members will be encouraged to come armed with questions. We are aiming for a wide-ranging discussion about creating campaigns with real impact.

James will be talking to Katie Hall of Faber & Faber about Leila Slimani’s Lullaby, Sophie Painter of Penguin Random House about Jo Nesbo, Lindsay Terrell about Cara Hunter and Abbie Salter about Lucy Foley’s The Hunting Party.

At the end of the crime and thriller session, James will host a campaign surgery, allowing anyone to bring up challenges they are facing in their own campaigns. The session aims to be open and interactive, and has proved to be full of lively discussion in the past.

The Masterclasses are a great way to get an insight into successful campaigns and to get feedback from marketers from across the industry on whatever you’re working on.
