We are looking for a Marketing Executive who loves shouting about amazing authors and brilliant books.
Core responsibilities are to:
– Plan, develop and implement high impact, fully integrated consumer campaigns through successful use of marketing.
– Ensure each campaign considers the pitch and proposition, sales strategy and audience.
– Manage campaign budgets.
– Provide general marketing support to the fiction marketing team.
– Work closely with Editorial, UK sales, PR, and International to ensure that plans are communicated to all the relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
– Proactively identify opportunities for promotions and partnerships with third parties.
– Briefing external design and media agencies on digital, audio, print and outdoor advertising.
– Creation of high quality and effective design assets including advertising, social media, POS and website.
– Social media content creation and scheduling, author page and genre channel page/account management.
– Stay up to date with latest marketing and industry trends and sharing interesting campaigns and ideas with team
– Team admin including managing the marketing budget, raising PO’s, title allocation changes, coding and submitting expenses

Experience required:
– Marketing experience in publishing, media or similar business.
– Demonstrable enthusiasm for marketing in all its forms across different media and platforms.
– Experience managing multiple projects at a time.
– Enthusiasm for books, reading and commercial fiction.

Skills required:
– Experience using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
– Excellent organisational and deadline management skills.
– Results focused.
– Strong copy writing skills with high level of attention to detail.
– Proactive, positive and self-motivated team players with ability to use own initiative and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
