Sophie Rochester is CEO and Founder at Yodomo. Previously she worked for Random House. 4th Estate and Good Technology, and has consulted clients on content marketing, digital communications and digital product development at Pan Macmillan, Hachette, Penguin Random House, Nesta, British Council and Royal Society of Literature. She is trustee at Spread the Word, London’s writer development agency.

Laura Di Giuseppe is a Publishing and Marketing Consultant. She has been in charge of developing integrated consumer and retail marketing strategies for some of the world’s most successful publishing brands including Dr Seuss, Paddington, J.R.R. Tolkien, Agatha Christie, George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, Fantastic Beasts and Pokémon. After her experience at Penguin and HarperCollins, she is now working with authors and publishers to establish their online presence, develop brand partnerships and maximise media opportunities.

Anna Chapman works at research & strategy agency Davies+McKerr. They advise brands & creative agencies on how to shape their campaigns so they’ll resonate with consumers and ultimately be more effective. She has previously worked at Contagious, who BMS members will be very familiar with, and is looking forward to being a judge in this year’s awards because her roots lie in publishing – back in the 90s she used to edit the books page of The Face magazine.

Suzanne Azzopardi is the producer and host of Literary Death Match, the world’s fastest-travelling live literary event (now in 60 cities worldwide). She is also an Executive Producer at Fremantle, where she devises digital and marketing strategies for the world’s biggest television shows such as The X Factor, Idols, Got Talent, Family Feud and many more.

Gavin Read is Marketing & Communications Manager at Foyles, where he oversees promotional and comms channels across digital and instore, with a special focus on email marketing. He started working as a bookseller at Foyles about ten years ago and has since specialised in running flagship events, digital design, video and animation content production and social media.
